How the trial works
Seven full days
The trial starts the first time you run Velmar Cut. For seven days 1D, 2D and every other feature are unlocked.
Test it on real jobs
Import your own drawings and parts lists, print schedules and export DXF. Take a job you have already cut and compare the material and the bars or sheets used.
Your work carries over
Activate a licence at any time and continue with the same jobs, stock and settings.
System requirements
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
- No .NET, AutoCAD or Microsoft Office needed
- Portable ZIP: unzip all of it and run, with no installation and no admin rights. Data stays in the VelmarCutData folder next to the program.
- Jobs of up to 50,000 pieces. Large nesting jobs benefit from a fast CPU.
- No internet connection needed to run or activate

If Windows shows a warning
Microsoft Defender SmartScreen can warn about a new download ("Windows protected your PC") until the file has built up a reputation. Compare the file's SHA-256 checksum with the one on your personal download page to confirm it came from this site, then click More info and Run anyway.
Activating a licence
Open Velmar Cut and click the trial notice, or open General settings. Choose Enter your licence, paste the licence text from your e-mail or open the .vel file, and click Activate.
