Product overview

One program for 1D and 2D cutting

Velmar Cut plans bars and profiles with mitred ends, and sheets with holes and curved contours. It keeps the remnants in stock and prints cutting schedules for the shop floor. It runs offline on Windows 10 and 11.

Three editions of one program

Every edition is the same Velmar Cut, and the licence decides what is unlocked. Licences add up, so you can start with one edition and add the other later.

Working with Velmar Cut

Automatic saving

The job is saved every 15 seconds and again when you close the program. Each file is written in one step, with a backup copy.

Undo and history

Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Y undo and redo changes to the job. Snapshots of every optimisation, import and warehouse update can be restored.

Work while it plans

Optimize runs in the background, with a progress bar and a Cancel button. Meanwhile you can edit the job or open another one.

Your language and units

27 interface languages, millimetres or inches, decimal comma or point, and fractions such as 100 1/2.

Layouts that are easy to read

Zoom and pan the layout. Hover over a part to see its size, click it for a close-up with dimensions and angles, or open the plan in a 3D view.

Six colour themes

Classic, Midnight, Marjan, Adriatic, Terracotta and Velebit. Tables, drawings and printouts stay light and easy to read in every theme.

Importing parts from files and planning in the background can free desk time for production, and the printed schedule groups identical bars, so the operator cuts one pattern several times instead of reading down a long list. With an AI app over MCP, the desk work on a long job can go from hours to minutes. Velmar Cut with an AI app

Some small workshops might not need CAD: 1D jobs take only lengths and angles, and 2D parts can be drawn in the shape editor and exported for the laser, plasma or waterjet. Drawing parts in Velmar Cut

The Velmar colour themes

Adriatic, Velebit, Marjan and Terracotta take their names from the Croatian coast and mountains. Midnight suits darker rooms. You choose a theme in General settings, and the window and the logo follow it.
