Cutting schedules the operator can work from

Velmar Cut prints cutting schedules grouped into patterns, a drawing of every finished part and a label for each piece. It also writes files for your CAM and office software, and reports print in the language set in the program.

Cutting schedules on A4

For bars, the report opens with an A4 landscape cutting schedule. Identical patterns are grouped with a repeat count, and every diagram shows part codes, lengths, left and right end angles and the shaded remainder. Small parts get enlarged diagrams with their positions and quantities.

  • Overview, Elements, or the full report with drawings
  • A detailed mode with quantities per bar and blade-centre coordinates
  • Part drawings to scale with length, profile height and end angles
  • Lossless 300 dpi PDF for printing and sending

Labels for every piece

Every piece gets a sticker, 24 to an A4 sheet (3 × 8), so it can be identified after cutting. A bar part's sticker has a small outline of the part and its named end angles; a sheet part's sticker has the part's code and name, its size, material, thickness and the job's name.

Files for CAM and office software

DXF and DWG per sheet

Each nested sheet as its own drawing, with its origin, units, outlines and inner contours, ready for your CAM software.

SVG

Layouts as vector graphics for documentation or other software.

Excel and CSV

The cutting sequence as a table, with fixed column names that other software can read.

HTML report

A report that opens in any browser, for sharing and archiving.

PNG pictures

Plans as pictures: one sheet, each sheet on its own or all sheets in one picture, and bar plans the same way.

Reports in 27 languages

Reports and labels print in the program's language, one of 27. File names and column names stay the same in every language, so your imports keep working.

Every job saved in one file

Each job is saved as one .velmarjob file with all its options and the plan. Recent jobs open with one click, and the history keeps snapshots you can restore.

One report for a project

A project prints as one PDF or printout: a summary page with every job's pieces, stock used and yield, the totals and the stock to use, then each job's own plan. Projects

Reports, labels and exports are included in every edition. Sheet export to DXF and DWG needs the 2D or the full edition.
