Questions from schools
Does the education licence cost anything?
No. The licence is free of charge as long as the institution uses Velmar Cut for teaching, exercises, student projects and exams. Paid work and production orders need a commercial licence.
Can students use Velmar Cut at home?
The education licence is for the institution's computers. On their own computers, students can use the free 7-day trial, which unlocks every edition.
How many computers does one licence cover?
Any number. A Velmar Cut licence is not tied to a machine, so one licence covers every classroom and lab computer.
What happens after the school year?
The licence ends with the school year. Write to Velmar before the next one starts and you receive a licence for the new school year.
